David Sim was born in Glasgow. He studied illustration, graphic design and printmaking at both the Edinburgh College of Art and the Royal College of Art. After college he worked as an illustrator for magazines, design groups and advertising agencies in London and internationally. He has also written and illustrated many children’s books.
